Our Mission: SAE Aero Design 2027

We are a student-run team from Dalhousie University, NS, Canada.

What We Do

Founded in Summer 2025, our goal is to create new opportunities in aerospace engineering and hands-on design innovation at Dalhousie. We are preparing to compete in the prestigious **SAE Aero Design Competition in 2027**.

  • Design: Conceiving the optimal aircraft structure and system.
  • Build: Fabricating a flight-ready, radio-controlled aircraft from scratch.
  • Test & Fly: Validating performance against real-world mission requirements.

The Challenge: Regular Class

We are focused on the Regular Class, which challenges us to develop a fundamental understanding of flight and structural efficiency.

The primary objective is simple:

Maximize Payload, Minimize Weight.

This experience prepares the next generation of engineers for careers in aerospace and beyond.

Ready to Build the Future?

We're looking for passionate students from **ALL** disciplines and years.

Gain Real-World Skills

  • Aircraft Design & Build Skills
  • Aerodynamics & Flight Principles
  • Advanced Manufacturing (Composites, 3D Printing)
  • Competition Experience

Learn By Doing

Move beyond the textbook. We offer hands-on experience in every step of the engineering process, from initial concept sketches to final flight testing. It's the best way to prepare for an industry career.
